But how do you go about finding a job at a creative agency? What is agency life like? What do top agencies look for in their hires?
Attend the Industry Spotlight Series: Panel Event with Creative Agencies where senior leaders from A2C, Publicis Montréal, Sid Lee, dentsu creative, Omnicom Media Group, and Clark Influence will answer these questions and provide tips and tricks for landing your first creative agency job.

Sann Sava, Chief Creative Officer, Publicis Montréal (Creative Advertising)
Sann oversees all creative work at Publicis Montréal, ensuring that the strategic needs of clients are in line with the agency's output. Her role is to advise, support, and motivate her team and deliver superior quality projects. She has worked at the world's largest agencies in Canada and in Europe and contributed to the success of major clients including: Volkswagen, Burger King, Pepsi, Adidas, L'Oréal and Jeep.
With a bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics, training in the visual arts, and a master's in advertising, she is particularly adept at producing innovative campaigns balancing logic and creativity. Before moving to Canada, Sann lived in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium. Over the span of her career, her work has been recognized nationally and internationnally with over 100 awards, including Cannes Lions.
Sann is a go-getter. At 12 years old, she landed her first job at a bakery. Since then she has not stopped pursuing goals with exceptional drive. Her passion for team sports makes her a natural when it comes to motivating staff. Meanwhile, her extensive background in the marketing industry gives her the insight to understand brand needs and contexts.
A mother of young children, Sann has put her foot to the pedal for charity over the past ten years at the 48-Hour-Ride, an annual cycling event organized by the
Make-A-
Wish® Quebec Foundation.
Jean-Claude M. Kikongi, Group Strategy Director, Sid Lee (Strategic Planning)
JC Kikongi loves research and teaching. He's a planner who knows his stuff and has the experience to back it up. For the past 15 years he's worked all over the country bringing his mix of strategy, communication and creativity together to inspire his teams and grow the influence of the brands he works with.
At Sid Lee Montreal he's helping reshape the strategy department working with clients like RONA and Tennis Canada, and contributing big to the creative culture.
Recognized by his peers, the press and the award shows, JC is a bonafide professional who generously gives his time and talent to the next generation, teaching at University of Sherbrooke, A2C and HEC (among others).
He's also a geek in some of the best ways with his DEC is computer science (among others).
Eric Adechi, VP, Client Services, dentsu creative (Client Services)
With competitive landscapes changing fast, it can be hard to know where to place big bets. As dentsu's VP, Client Services and Business Lead, Eric's focus is on clearly discerning the sources of opportunity and disruption in his clients' categories to help them build a leadership position.
Eric has successfully held management positions across a range of agencies - leading integrated campaign initiatives with the purpose of creating and capturing economic surplus for his clients.
As a 20+ year marketing veteran, Eric can point to a successful track record of driving better outcomes for clients, from a diagnosis of where, why, and how an organization a makes money in the present, a forecast of how that might alter in the future, an understanding of the potential pathways to success, the development of a portfolio of initiatives, and obtaining a commitment to driving change.
Christophe Grimard, Practice Lead, SEM, Omnicom Media Group (Media)
During his bachelor's degree, Christophe had the opportunity to participate in a case competition in digital marketing. Spending more time exploring the capabilities of Google Analytics and Facebook Ads than preparing for his final exams, he realized that digital marketing was more than a subject - it was a newfound passion that would eventually shape his career.
After 4 years in the industry, Christophe occupies the role of Paid Search Practice Lead for Omnicom Media Group in Montréal. He leads a team of 8 media experts; their mission is to constantly push the boundaries of search engine marketing further to deliver outstanding results for their clients.
In the last year, Christophe has worked on creative data-driven projects that received recognition in national and international industry competitions. Through these projects, he was able to deepen his understanding of the field and improve his project management skills.
Marine Burgevin, Account Director, Clark Influence (Influence Marketing)
Marine studied and graduated with a Masters in Marketing and Communications from Edhec Nice in France. Part of her degree was completed at the University of Ljubljana in Slovenia.
Prior to specialising in advertising, Marine undertook a number of work experience assignments in companies in various fields. She started out in large groups such as Prada and Marie Claire, before moving on to agencies with high ambitions.
She began her career in luxury events and artist booking, imagining and setting up tailor-made corporate events for top brands such as Cartier, L'Oréal Luxe, Alaïa, Viktor&Rolf, etc. Although she was offered the opportunity to manage the opening of the Dubai office, Marine finally decided to make a shift in 2016 towards brand strategy by accepting a position in an agency in Los Angeles.
She discovered her passion for advertising and decided to return to Paris to pursue her interest. It was in 2017 that she first became aware of influencer marketing and kicked off her career as an Account Manager at Reech, one of France's leading specialist agencies. For over 4 years, she developed a client portfolio of over 30 brands and produced creative content and influencer strategies for companies such as Coca Cola, Lactalis, Whirlpool, Ravensburger, C&A, Amazon Music, Mercedes Benz or Gopuff.
Passionate about social media and influence, Marine made a career change and decided to leave France to pursue her dream of moving to Canada. For 6 months, she travelled across Canada, making a few stops between the United States and Mexico. Then, in September 2022, Marine settled in Montreal. She finally joined Clark Influence, one of the most innovative and prestigious agencies on the Canadian market, as Account Director. Her role mainly involves designing and running creative, high-performance influencer campaigns for her portfolio of brands: belairdirect, the Quebec government, Hydro Québec, Salomon, Ungava, Yellow shoes and EPAV Média
